Il est très souvent utilisé en anglais. Le Past Continuous (Simple Past + ING) sert lui à parler d’actions en cours dans le passé ou d’une action antérieure en cours quand survient une autre action. Le Future Continuous est utilisé pour parler de faits qui seront en train de se dérouler dans le futur. Le Futur Perfect est un temps de conjugaison peu utilisé en anglais, ce temps de conjugaison permet de parler d’une action factuelle future antérieure à une autre. Enfin le Futur Perfect Continuous est très rarement utilisé, ce temps est utilisé pour parler d’une action future en cours et antérieure à une autre.
